Most important --
- Timely cleaning or replacement of air, lube oil and fuel filters.
- Adequate airflow to the engine. Don't block air flow with sound proofing or other construction.
- Fresh, clean, high quality fuel. Most engine failures are caused by old fuel, wrong fuel type, and water or other contaminants in the fuel.
CAUTION -- DO NOT try to test or repair the diesel injector pump or injectors. Fuel injected into your body by high pressure injectors can cause illness and death.
