ELECTRONIC IGNITION KITS

The Pertronics Ignitor electronic Ignition kits are a replacement for your points and condenser. The kit consists of a new plate that fits inside the distributor. On this plate is a "black box" which contains the electronics. This box is coated in epoxy to protect it from the elements. A sleeve slips down over the distributor shaft, and the rotor is re-installed on top of it. Two wires are then run from the "black box" to the coil and the distributor cap is re-installed. Now you never have to change, gap or clean points again. In addition, the electronic ignition provides a longer and hotter spark which helps improve performance and reduce plug fouling.
